Palnadu District Superintendent of Police Kanchi Srinivasa Rao has reiterated that Palnadu police are committed to eradicating ganja trade and consumption in the district.
At an awareness meeting with spinning mill owners and managers on Monday, he stressed vigilance against migrant workers engaging in smuggling and directed mills to maintain complete employee records.
The SP urged the managements to install CCTV cameras, keep footage secure, and ensure workers understand cameras are for safety. He encouraged women workers to use the “Shakti” app launched by the state government.
He also instructed mill authorities to arrange safe travel for employees, enforce helmet use and conduct regular sessions on road and fire safety.
