Shaik Riyaz took charge as chairman of the Ongole Urban Development Authority (OUDA) on Monday in a ceremony attended by ministers, MPs, MLAs and NDA alliance leaders.
Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar, Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhan Rao and several other dignitaries congratulated Riyaz on his appointment.
The leaders expressed confidence that Riyaz’s leadership would boost development activities in Ongole and the surrounding areas.
