New Delhi: The State government has set up an emergency cell at AP Bhavan in New Delhi to assist Telugu citizens stranded in Nepal amid ongoing Gen Z protests.

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu asked Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu and AP Bhavan officials to extend full support to Telugu nationals in Nepal. Rammohan Naidu is in constant touch with the Ministry of External Affairs to monitor developments.
AP Bhavan Commissioner Arja Srikanth spoke with Indian Ambassador to Nepal Naveen Srivastava, who assured full cooperation from the Embassy of India in Kathmandu.
About 30 Telugu citizens in Bafal, Kathmandu, are currently being assisted by the Embassy with food, accommodation, medical aid and safety monitoring.
The government said families back home need not worry, as every effort is being made to safeguard Telugu nationals in Nepal. The emergency cell will operate around the clock in coordination with the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu and the Ministry of External Affairs. Further updates will be shared as the situation develops.
