South Central Railway Announces Special Trains

South Central Railway has announced several special trains to manage the heavy rush during the Sankranti festival. The railway introduced these services to meet increased passenger demand during the holiday season.

A special train will operate between Secunderabad and Anakapalli. Train number 07041 will run on January 4, 11 and 18. The return service, train number 07042, will operate on January 5, 12 and 19.

Special trains will also run between Hyderabad and Gorakhpur. Train number 07075 will depart from Hyderabad on January 9, 16 and 23. Train number 07076 will return from Gorakhpur on January 11, 18 and 25.

South Central Railway has scheduled a special train between Machilipatnam and Ajmer. Train number 07274 will depart from Machilipatnam on January 21. The return service, train number 07275, will operate from Ajmer on January 28.

Special Services for Sabarimala Pilgrims

The railway has also arranged special trains for Ayyappa devotees visiting Sabarimala. Four special services will run between Charlapalli and Kollam in January.

Train number 07135 will depart from Charlapalli on January 14 and 21. Train number 07136 will operate from Kollam on the same dates.

These trains will halt at Kachiguda, Kurnool, Dhone, Guntakal, Kadapa, Tirupati, Katpadi, Erode, Thrissur and Ernakulam. Officials advised passengers to plan their journeys early to avoid last-minute inconvenience.
