Reaffirming Andhra Pradesh’s focus on education-led development, Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra on Friday said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the coalition government are giving top priority to education, calling it the true driver of the State’s progress and innovation.
The Minister was speaking at the inauguration of ALLEN Career Institute’s Vijayawada branch, one of India’s leading coaching institutions for engineering and medical entrance exams. The event was attended by Durga Temple Trust Board Chairman Borra Radha Krishna, DCP K.G.V. Saritha, and ALLEN Vice President and Zonal Head Mahesh Yadav.
Ravindra said that Andhra Pradesh’s vision to become an education and innovation hub is becoming a reality with premier institutions like ALLEN expanding into the State. He added that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s Knowledge Hub vision aims to create opportunities that align education with employment and entrepreneurship.
He highlighted that initiatives like Vision 2020 and the IT revolution spearheaded by Chandrababu Naidu had already positioned Andhra Pradesh—and Telugu people globally—on the map of technological excellence and skilled manpower.
Mahesh Yadav, speaking on behalf of ALLEN Institute, said the new Vijayawada Centre will offer classroom coaching for JEE (Main + Advanced), NEET (UG), and Science Olympiads starting April 2026. The expansion, he said, is part of ALLEN’s commitment to making high-quality competitive exam training accessible to every aspiring student in the region.
Yadav noted that ALLEN Career Institute currently operates in 72 cities across 24 states and four Union Territories, along with seven international centres, underscoring its growing role in nurturing India’s academic talent.
Ravindra concluded by saying that Andhra Pradesh’s education policy under Chandrababu Naidu focuses on quality learning, digital literacy, and equitable access, ensuring that the State remains at the forefront of India’s knowledge economy.
