Google has launched its new AI Plus plan in India, offering wider access to its latest AI tools. The subscription brings advanced models, multimedia features and improved app integration.
Google said the plan provides expanded access to Gemini 3 Pro in the Gemini app. It also includes upgraded image and video generation tools like Nano Banana Pro and Flow. These additions aim to boost both creativity and productivity.
Moreover, the plan brings Gemini into everyday apps such as Gmail and Google Docs. As a result, users can generate content faster and streamline their work. The plan also improves research capabilities through NotebookLM, which now offers deeper analysis features.
Subscribers get 200 GB of storage across Google Photos, Drive and Gmail. They can also share these benefits with up to five family members. Google said the plan is an affordable way to access its advanced AI features.
The Google AI Plus plan costs ₹399 per month, but new users can get it for ₹199 per month for the first six months. According to Google, this pricing makes powerful AI tools more accessible.
Earlier in November, Google outlined a safety-first AI roadmap for India. It focuses on children, teenagers and older adults. The company introduced real-time anti-scam tools, text watermarking and digital literacy programs to improve AI safety.
One of the key features is Scam Detection, powered by Gemini Nano. The tool will be available on Pixel phones to analyze calls in real time and flag possible scam attempts. It works entirely on-device, without recording audio, storing transcripts or sharing data with Google.
The feature is off by default and applies only to calls from unknown numbers. It also plays a beep sound to alert participants. Users can turn the feature on or off at any time.
