YSR Congress Party leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu has once again targeted Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan with sharp political satire. Known for his frequent criticism of the Jana Sena chief, Ambati reacted to the recent transfer of the Bhimavaram DSP, turning the issue into a fresh political exchange.
DSP Transferred After Allegations
The Andhra Pradesh government recently transferred Bhimavaram DSP Jaya Surya following serious allegations of illegal activities. According to sources, several complainants directly approached Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, accusing the officer of interfering in settlement matters. Allegations also surfaced about his alleged involvement in illegal gambling activities.
Taking these complaints seriously, Pawan Kalyan reportedly instructed the district Superintendent of Police to conduct a thorough inquiry. After the investigation confirmed the officer’s involvement in unlawful activities, the government ordered his transfer. Subsequently, Raghuveer Vishnu was appointed as the new DSP of Bhimavaram.
Ambati’s Sarcastic Tweet
Soon after the transfer order was issued, Ambati Rambabu took to social media to comment on the development. In a sarcastic tone, he tweeted, “Congratulations to Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for finally getting DSP Jaya Surya transferred.” The remark quickly gained attention and triggered reactions across political circles.
Ambati’s tweet was widely seen as a direct jibe at Pawan Kalyan, suggesting that the transfer happened due to political pressure rather than routine administrative action. This post added fuel to the ongoing political rivalry between the YSRCP and Jana Sena Party.
Political Reactions Continue
The incident has once again highlighted the tense political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh. While supporters of Pawan Kalyan argue that the action reflects zero tolerance toward corruption, YSRCP leaders continue to question the intent behind such decisions.
With elections approaching, political observers believe that such exchanges are likely to intensify. For now, the DSP transfer has moved beyond administration and entered the political spotlight, with leaders like Ambati Rambabu ensuring it remains part of the public debate.
