Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stepped up efforts to secure large-scale investments for the state during the second day of his Davos visit. He focused on positioning Andhra Pradesh as a strong destination for technology, green energy, manufacturing, and logistics investments. Through a packed schedule of global meetings, Naidu highlighted policy stability, infrastructure growth, and long-term opportunities for international investors.
Naidu began the day by addressing the CII Breakfast Session on “The Andhra Pradesh Advantage.” He explained the state’s strengths in energy, digital infrastructure, and manufacturing. He later joined the India Lounge inauguration and held discussions with IBM Chairman and CEO Arvind Krishna and Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian. These meetings emphasized innovation, cloud adoption, and technology-led governance.
In the evening, Naidu met UAE Economy and Tourism Minister Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri to strengthen Andhra Pradesh–UAE economic cooperation. Talks focused on food processing, collaboration with the Dubai Food Cluster, and plans for a multimodal logistics park. He also interacted with Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, CII Director General Chandrajit Banerjee, and JSW Group Chairman Sajjan Jindal on industrial investments.
Earlier in Zurich, Naidu announced a ₹50 crore fund to support NRI entrepreneurs during a Telugu diaspora interaction. He also met Eros Innovations founder Kishore Lulla and shared plans to build Andhra Pradesh as an AI-driven creative hub. The four-day Davos tour includes 36 meetings aimed at boosting investor confidence.
