Focus on Branding Andhra Pradesh at the World Economic Forum
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said his visit to the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos successfully promoted Andhra Pradesh on the global stage. After completing a four-day tour, he returned to India and described the trip as both productive and meaningful.
He said the WEF platform helped him understand changing global industry trends. At the same time, it allowed Andhra Pradesh to present its strengths directly to global business leaders.
Key Meetings Highlight State’s Growth Story
During the three-day summit, the Chief Minister held several meetings with global investors and industry heads. Through these discussions, the state highlighted its progress in green energy, technology, artificial intelligence, agriculture, and tourism.
According to the Chief Minister’s Office, corporate leaders showed strong interest in India. Many companies also expressed confidence in Andhra Pradesh’s growth potential.

Chandrababu Naidu said India’s young workforce continues to draw global attention. He also pointed to stable leadership and investor-friendly policies as major advantages.
Because of these factors, companies now see India as a preferred destination. He added that Andhra Pradesh aims to use this momentum to attract fresh investments and create jobs.
Major Projects Discussed During the Visit
As part of the Davos meetings, the Chief Minister discussed several key projects. These included the TCS development centre in Visakhapatnam and the proposed Quantum Valley in Amaravati.
In addition, talks took place on upcoming solar power projects in Kurnool. He said these initiatives would boost both the technology and renewable energy sectors.
Employment and Future Growth in Focus
Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that these projects would generate large-scale employment. He noted that skilled and semi-skilled jobs would grow across regions.
