Minister Kollu Ravindra strongly criticised the YSR Congress Party, saying its five-year rule damaged Andhra Pradesh. He stated that corruption and misuse of power marked the previous government’s tenure. According to him, former chief minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy encouraged illegal land grabs and weakened the revenue system across the state.
Ravindra said land disputes increased sharply because officials mishandled records. He alleged that the Land Titling Act was used to alter documents, which created fear among landowners. As a result, many people struggled to protect their properties and faced uncertainty.
The minister also claimed that YSRCP leaders lost direction after seeing the development works launched by the present coalition government. He said ongoing projects clearly exposed the failures of the earlier regime. Therefore, he added, opposition leaders now make baseless allegations out of frustration.
Ravindra further accused the previous government of wasting nearly ₹700 crore on survey stones and related activities. He described the spending as unnecessary and politically driven. He warned that irresponsible remarks against Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh would invite strong action.
Concluding his remarks, Kollu Ravindra said the government would act firmly against anyone who tries to block development or create unrest. He stressed that the coalition government remains committed to growth, clean governance, and restoring public confidence in Andhra Pradesh.
