YSR Congress Party chief and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a sharp attack on the Chandrababu Naidu-led government, saying it failed to deliver even a single meaningful benefit to people despite completing two years in power. He said the government presented three budgets, yet public welfare remained untouched across Andhra Pradesh.
Jagan reminded people that his government treated the election manifesto like a sacred text. He said every promise was implemented without compromise. Even during the Covid crisis, no welfare scheme was stopped. However, he alleged that after Chandrababu returned to power, several YSRCP welfare schemes were scrapped without justification.
According to Jagan, the much-publicised “Super Six” and “Super Seven” promises turned out to be hollow claims. He accused the government of deceiving people in every sector. From gas cylinder prices to liquor policies, he said irregularities became routine under the present administration.
Jagan Announces Padayatra Across 150 Constituencies
Looking ahead, Jagan announced a massive padayatra covering 150 Assembly constituencies. He said he would remain among the people and directly listen to their problems. At the same time, he stressed that village-level party committees would be strengthened.
He also made it clear that party workers would play a crucial role in “Jagan 2.0.” Moreover, he predicted strong public backlash against the Chandrababu government in the coming days, using sharp language to underline growing anger among citizens.
Law and Order Breakdown Alleged
Jagan strongly reacted to the sexual harassment allegations against Railway Koduru Janasena MLA Arava Sridhar. He said the incident exposed the complete collapse of law and order in the state. Furthermore, he alleged that Andhra Pradesh had slipped into a “jungle raj” situation under the current regime.
He concluded by stating that public safety, governance, and accountability had taken a back seat. Therefore, he urged people to closely observe the government’s failures and prepare for decisive change in the future.
