Senior Janasena leader Satyanarayana Bolisetty raised serious concerns over the absence of Janasena representation in temple committees across the Visakhapatnam East constituency. He warned that repeated omissions were creating frustration among party cadres and women workers, despite their active role in strengthening the alliance at the grassroots level.

No Place for Janasena in Five Temple Committees

Speaking as the State General Secretary and Point of Contact for Visakhapatnam East, Bolisetty highlighted that the constituency has five major temples. However, none of the temple management committees include Janasena members. He pointed out that even the largest and most significant shrine, the fishermen’s revered Karakachettu Polamamba Temple, failed to offer representation.

Recently, the temple’s governing council inducted 11 members through an oath-taking ceremony. Despite expectations, not a single Janasena member found a place. Bolisetty stressed that at least three positions should have gone to Janasena nominees.

Grassroots Workers Feeling Demoralised

Bolisetty expressed concern that such decisions were deeply discouraging Janasena veeramahilas and party workers. He noted that similar issues were surfacing across constituencies. Moreover, he revealed that he receives frequent calls from ground-level leaders highlighting repeated lapses in nominated posts.

He emphasised that the promised 30 per cent reservation in nominated positions, as envisioned by Pawan Kalyan, has not materialised in any constituency so far. Bolisetty clarified that raising this issue aims to prevent the allegation from becoming a harsh reality.

Respect for Sacrifice Is Key to Alliance Strength

The Janasena leader asserted that only when the party’s sacrifices receive rightful recognition will cadres work with doubled energy for the alliance’s future success. He added that morale at the grassroots directly impacts electoral outcomes, especially in local body elections.

Call for Immediate Leadership Intervention

Looking ahead, Bolisetty urged Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan to step in without delay. He stated that ensuring fair allocation of nominated posts to Janasena and BJP workers in every constituency is essential to uphold alliance ethics.

He concluded by stressing that protecting coalition values remains crucial not only for upcoming local elections but also to prevent any political revival of the YSRCP in the future.
