Pollution Now Part of Daily Life, Says Deputy Chief Minister
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated that pollution has become an unavoidable part of modern daily life. He said economic development often brings environmental challenges. Therefore, some level of pollution becomes difficult to avoid during growth.
However, he stressed that the government must not ignore the issue. Instead, authorities should take firm steps to limit and control pollution wherever possible. He underlined that regulation matters even when complete elimination remains difficult.
Meeting With Industrial Leaders in Visakhapatnam
Pawan Kalyan held a meeting with industrial representatives from the Visakhapatnam region at a private hotel in the city. The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board organised the meeting. It focused on environmental protection and pollution control.
During the interaction, he encouraged open dialogue between the government and industries. At the same time, he highlighted the responsibility that comes with industrial expansion.
Industries Asked to Follow Pollution Norms Strictly
The Deputy Chief Minister urged industrialists to strictly follow Pollution Control Board regulations. He said compliance should not remain optional. Instead, industries must actively support biodiversity and environmental balance.
Moreover, he warned that ignoring environmental rules would harm both public health and long-term economic stability. As a result, sustainable practices should guide industrial operations.
Focus on Technology and Waste Management
Pawan Kalyan emphasised the role of modern technology in reducing pollution. He asked industries to adopt advanced waste management systems. Additionally, he called for measures to improve air quality across industrial zones.
He said innovation can help reduce environmental damage while supporting growth. Therefore, industries should invest in cleaner processes and smarter solutions.
Sustainable Development: The Way Forward
The Deputy Chief Minister concluded by stressing the need for balanced development. Economic progress, he said, should go hand in hand with environmental responsibility. Ultimately, controlled growth will protect public health and ensure a sustainable future for Andhra Pradesh.
