Andhra Pradesh’s education reforms drew nationwide attention at the AI Conclave in New Delhi on February 12, 2026. Union Minister for Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, and Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Sri Sanjay Kumar, I.A.S., visited the Andhra Pradesh School Education Department’s special stall.
Commissioner of School Education Sri Vijay Rama Raju V., I.A.S., explained the ongoing reforms and digital learning initiatives for students. Meanwhile, Samagra Shiksha State Project Director Sri B. Srinivasa Rao, I.A.S., shared details about the progress on the ground.
The Union Minister praised Andhra Pradesh for introducing innovative programs such as PAL Labs, the Mid-Day Meal Programme, Clicker, Guaranteed Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN), Chatbot services, and the AI-enabled Face Recognition System. Officials from multiple states visited the stall, observed the state’s initiatives, and expressed interest in replicating these practices.
The AI Conclave highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to combining technology with traditional education. By integrating AI tools, the state enhances learning outcomes and ensures students benefit from modern educational approaches.
