The wedding celebrations of Allu Sirish have officially begun, bringing warmth and tradition into the spotlight. The Tollywood actor, and brother of Allu Arjun, marked the start of his wedding journey with a beautiful Pasupu Danchudu (turmeric grinding) ceremony held at his family residence in Hyderabad.
The intimate yet joyful ceremony has set the tone for a series of grand celebrations leading up to his wedding on March 6.
Wedding Date and Celebrations So Far
Allu Sirish is set to tie the knot with Nayanika on March 6. While the latest ceremony took place at the residence of noted producer Allu Aravind in Hyderabad, the pre-wedding festivities had already begun on an international note.
Last month, the families hosted grand celebrations in Dubai, giving close friends and relatives a glimpse of the joyous occasion ahead. Now, the focus has shifted back home, where traditions are taking centre stage.
A Traditional Pasupu Danchudu Ceremony
Instead of opting for a modern Haldi function commonly seen in celebrity weddings, the Allu family chose to honour tradition with a Pasupu Danchudu ceremony.
This ritual involves grinding turmeric at home, symbolising purity, prosperity, and auspicious beginnings. The ceremony is deeply rooted in Telugu culture and reflects the family’s commitment to preserving heritage.
Allu Sirish shared glimpses of the ceremony on his Instagram account, capturing candid family moments filled with laughter, music, and blessings. The atmosphere appeared warm, vibrant, and deeply personal.
Prominent Family Members in Attendance
The ceremony witnessed the presence of several prominent members from the extended mega family.
Among those attending were Anna Lezhnova, wife of Pawan Kalyan, Sneha Reddy, wife of Allu Arjun, and Sushmita Konidela, daughter of Chiranjeevi.
Children and other close relatives added charm to the celebration, making it a heartfelt family affair rather than a large public event.
A Celebration Rooted in Culture and Family Values
Celebrity weddings often draw attention for their grandeur and glamour. However, Allu Sirish’s wedding festivities highlight something equally important: the value of tradition and family bonds.
By choosing Pasupu Danchudu over a more contemporary ceremony, the family emphasised cultural authenticity. The ritual not only marks the beginning of wedding celebrations but also symbolises blessings for a harmonious married life.
