The Andhra Pradesh government has brought welcome news for farmers from the Amaravati capital region. Today, authorities will allocate residential plots to eligible farmers through a transparent e-lottery system. The Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) has completed all arrangements for the process.

According to officials, the e-lottery will begin at 11 a.m. at the CRDA office in Rayapudi. In the first phase, the authority will allot 135 plots to 90 farmers belonging to 14 villages within the capital region. As in previous rounds, officials will follow a fully digital and open selection method to ensure fairness.

Meanwhile, the government has also planned a separate allocation for farmers from Undavalli who had earlier surrendered dry land. In this second phase, officials will distribute 390 plots to 201 eligible farmers. The CRDA will conduct this e-lottery at 3 p.m. to maintain clarity and transparency throughout the process.

Officials stated that the e-lottery system helps avoid disputes and ensures equal opportunity for all beneficiaries. Moreover, the digital process allows farmers to track the allocation openly, which strengthens trust in the system.

The government continues to focus on farmer welfare while moving forward with Amaravati’s development plans. By completing plot distribution in a structured manner, authorities aim to provide long-term security to land-contributing farmers.
