New-Generation Kia Seltos Production Begins
Penukonda, NewsToday: Kia India has started commercial production of the new-generation Kia Seltos. With this move, the company aims to strengthen its position in the mid-range SUV segment. Manufacturing has begun at Kia’s plant in Sri Sathya Sai district of Andhra Pradesh.

Kia India confirmed that the new Seltos is rolling out of its Andhra Pradesh facility. The plant plays a key role in the company’s growth strategy in India. Moreover, the start of production signals Kia’s readiness for the upcoming market launch.
Design and Dimensions
The new-generation Kia Seltos measures 4,460 mm in length and 1,830 mm in width. It also features a long wheelbase of 2,690 mm, which improves cabin space and ride comfort. In addition, the SUV gets a refreshed digital tiger face design. Automatic streamline door handles and ice cube LED projection headlamps enhance its premium look.
Platform and Safety Focus
Kia India Managing Director and CEO Kwang Lee said the SUV is built on the “India First Global K3 platform.” According to him, this platform improves road safety and driving quality. It also suits Indian road conditions, ensuring better stability and comfort.
Advanced Features and Technology
The new Seltos comes with a Trinity Panoramic Display, offering a modern digital experience. Along with this, it features a premium Bose eight-speaker audio system. These upgrades aim to deliver better comfort and in-car entertainment.
Price Announcement Soon
Kwang Lee stated that Kia India will reveal the prices of the new-generation Seltos on January 2. With production now underway, expectations are high for strong demand. Overall, the new Seltos promises a blend of style, technology, and safety for Indian SUV buyers.
