Andhra Pradesh Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh has directed officials to bring back the former glory of Andhra University. He wants the centenary celebrations to be historic and impressive. All departments must complete the arrangements on time.
In Visakhapatnam, Minister Lokesh reviewed the plans with Vice-Chancellor Professor G.P. Rajasekhar and other senior officials. He said the centenary should show the university as a leading centre of excellence globally.
The events will run from March 26 to April 26. Minister Lokesh asked alumni to actively join the celebrations. He stressed that the university’s rich history and achievements should shine throughout the centenary.
He also told officials to work together and ensure the events highlight Andhra University’s legacy. The celebrations should strengthen the university’s image in India and abroad.
