Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh said all the facts related to the alleged laddu adulteration issue will be revealed in the Assembly tomorrow. He made this statement while speaking to the media in the Assembly lobby before the start of the joint session. His remarks have intensified the ongoing political debate in the state.
Lokesh also criticised YSRCP members for not attending the House proceedings. He said attending the Assembly is the responsibility of every elected member. According to him, no one needs a special invitation to participate in legislative sessions. He urged opposition members to take part in discussions instead of staying away.
Criticism Over Protest With Deity Photos
The minister expressed strong objection to YSRCP members allegedly carrying photos of a Hindu deity during protests inside the legislature. He said bringing images of God into political demonstrations within law-making bodies is inappropriate. Moreover, he added that defending such actions only worsens the situation.
Lokesh stated that religious sentiments should not be mixed with political activities. He described the incident as unfortunate and said such acts hurt public faith.
Government Ready for Open Discussion
Reiterating his stand, Lokesh said the government is prepared to present complete details about the laddu adulteration controversy. He assured that transparency will be maintained and all relevant facts will be placed before the Assembly.
He emphasised that constructive debate strengthens democracy and helps the public understand the truth. With the announcement, attention has now shifted to tomorrow’s Assembly session, where the government is expected to disclose further details on the issue.
