2010 batch IAS officers get super time scale
The Andhra Pradesh government has promoted five senior IAS officers working in the state administration. The promoted officers belong to the 2010 IAS batch and have been granted the super time scale (Pay Matrix Level-14), which is equivalent to the rank of Government Secretary.
The orders were issued on Friday by Chief Secretary K. Vijayanand through a Government Order (G.O.). According to the notification, the promotions will come into effect from January 1, 2026.

As per the government order, the officers who received promotions are:
Chadalwada Nagarani
Dr. Narayana Bharat Gupta
Amrapali Kata
J. Niwas
Gandham Chandrudu
The state government clarified that these promotions are part of the regular administrative process and cadre progression.
Officers to continue in existing roles
Despite their elevation, some officers will continue in their present assignments. Chadalwada Nagarani will remain as the District Collector of West Godavari, while Amrapali Kata will continue as Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the AP Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC).
Meanwhile, the post held by Dr. Narayana Bharat Gupta has been reorganized. He will now serve as the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, following administrative restructuring.
New role for Gandham Chandrudu
The government has assigned Gandham Chandrudu new responsibilities as the Commissioner of Labour. He will replace M.V. Seshagiri Babu, who was holding additional charge of the post until now.
At the same time, J. Niwas has been promoted to the super time scale, and the government stated that separate posting orders will be issued soon.
Chief Secretary Vijayanand added that special orders will follow for post upgradation and cadre parity wherever required.
