Pension Distribution Accelerates Across Andhra Pradesh
The Andhra Pradesh government has intensified the distribution of NTR Bharosa pensions across the state. Since February 1 falls on a Sunday, officials began distributing pension amounts one day earlier. As a result, beneficiaries received financial support without delay.
Village and ward secretariat staff delivered pension cash directly to beneficiaries’ homes. This doorstep delivery ensured convenience for elderly and vulnerable citizens. Moreover, the system helped avoid overcrowding and long queues.
Chief Minister Interacts With Beneficiaries in Kuppam
Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu personally participated in the pension distribution program. He attended the event at Beggilapalle village in Gudipalli mandal of the Kuppam constituency. During the visit, he interacted directly with beneficiaries and listened to their concerns.
The Chief Minister reviewed the implementation process on the ground. At the same time, he emphasised the importance of timely support for pension recipients. His presence highlighted the government’s focus on welfare delivery.
Over 60 Percent Beneficiaries Receive Pensions by Morning
Across Andhra Pradesh, the state is supporting 62,94,844 pension beneficiaries under the NTR Bharosa scheme. By 10:30 a.m., officials had already distributed pensions to nearly 38 lakh beneficiaries. This figure represents around 60 per cent of the total recipients.
Meanwhile, distribution continued in other regions to ensure full coverage. Officials coordinated closely with local staff to maintain speed and accuracy.
Welfare Delivery Remains a Key Priority
The early distribution of pensions reflects the government’s commitment to social welfare. Additionally, doorstep delivery has strengthened trust among beneficiaries. Therefore, the NTR Bharosa scheme continues to play a crucial role in supporting livelihoods across Andhra Pradesh.
