The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) conducted its weekly “Grievance Day” programme at the Head Office in Rayapudi, where farmers, agricultural labourers, and residents from across the Capital Region submitted petitions regarding land and development-related issues.
APCRDA Additional Commissioner A. Bhargava Teja, IAS, personally received the petitions and assured applicants that every grievance will be addressed on a priority basis. He emphasised that officials must not display negligence while handling public issues and directed departments to ensure timely and transparent resolutions.
Key Issues Presented
Residents raised concerns related to:
- Village boundary disputes
- Street alignment problems
- Returnable plots registration
- Other land and development challenges within the Capital Region
A total of 80 petitions were received during the session, with the majority related to land issues in Amaravati.

Officials from various wings of APCRDA were present and provided on-the-spot resolutions to several applicants. The Additional Commissioner highlighted the importance of citizen participation and appealed to farmers and residents to utilise the weekly Grievance Day held every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the APCRDA Head Office in Rayapudi.
