National Stock Exchange (NSE) Managing Director and CEO Ashish Kumar Chauhan visited the Tirumala temple on Sunday along with his family. During the visit, he offered special prayers for the prosperity of the exchange and the well-being of the country.
Importantly, the visit came at a crucial time for the NSE. Just a day earlier, strong signals emerged that the long-pending NSE Initial Public Offering (IPO) could soon receive approval from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
Speaking after the darshan, Chauhan said the visit brought him peace and satisfaction. He explained that he prayed for NSE’s members, shareholders, and employees. Moreover, he said the timing of the visit felt special.
Although the Tirumala trip was planned well in advance, Chauhan noted the coincidence with the IPO developments. Therefore, he described it as an auspicious sign and a blessing.
Meanwhile, Chauhan said SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey has indicated that the NSE IPO may get approval within this month. As a result, market observers expect the listing to become one of the most significant events in Indian capital market history.
Finally, Chauhan said seeking the blessings of Srivari during such an important phase gave him confidence and positivity. He added that the visit will remain a memorable moment in his professional journey.
