A deep sense of devotion filled the Tirumala Alipiri footpath as film producer Bandla Ganesh completed his long Sankalpa Yatra and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara. After finishing the spiritually significant journey, he fulfilled his vows at the sacred Alipiri Padalu amid chanting and devotional fervour.
Bandla Ganesh began his Sankalpa Yatra on January 19 from Shadnagar. Over several weeks, he walked nearly 507 kilometres to reach Tirupati. As part of his vow, he broke 507 coconuts at Alipiri and performed special prayers, expressing gratitude for the divine strength that helped him complete the journey.
Following the rituals, Bandla Ganesh began his foot journey towards the Tirumala hill shrine, praying for the fulfilment of his wishes with the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. Devotees gathered in large numbers and welcomed him with chants, creating a vibrant spiritual atmosphere at the foothills.
Leaders Join the Devotional Walk
MLC Kancherla Srikanth and Brahma Chowdary accompanied Bandla Ganesh during the sacred walk. Together, they offered prayers not only for personal wishes but also for the overall development and prosperity of the state. Their participation added significance to the event, drawing attention from devotees and visitors alike.
Throughout the journey, the atmosphere remained calm yet energetic, reflecting strong faith and discipline. The completion of the Sankalpa Yatra once again highlighted the deep spiritual bond devotees share with Tirumala, especially through traditional foot pilgrimages that symbolise devotion, patience, and surrender.
