Producer Announces Spiritual Yatra from Shadnagar
Film producer and actor Bandla Ganesh will begin a foot pilgrimage to Tirumala on January 19 at 9 am. He made the announcement through a media statement on Sunday. The journey will start from his residence in Shadnagar.
According to Ganesh, he made a vow to Lord Venkateswara during a difficult time. At that stage, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was under arrest during the YSRCP rule. Ganesh said he prayed for justice and relief.
Vow Made During a Time of Distress
Ganesh explained that he stood at the gates of the Supreme Court and prayed to Lord Srinivasa. At that moment, he promised to walk to Tirumala if Chandrababu Naidu came out of jail. Later, the courts dismissed the cases against Naidu. As a result, Ganesh said his mental pain eased.
Because of this, he decided to fulfil his vow without delay. He described the journey as a walk “from my doorstep to the Lord’s hill.”
Journey Begins with Traditional Ritual
On the morning of January 19, Ganesh will break a coconut in front of his house. After that, he will begin the long walk towards Tirumala. He said he would start the yatra with the blessings of his parents and family members.
Meanwhile, Ganesh added that the call to complete the vow stayed strong in his mind. He said the sacred Seshachalam hills seemed to invite him for darshan.
‘This Is Not a Political Yatra’
At the same time, Bandla Ganesh made it clear that the foot pilgrimage has no political motive. Instead, he described it as a personal and spiritual journey. He stressed that faith, not politics, drives his decision.
Moreover, Ganesh said Lord Venkateswara removed his inner pain and restored peace to his life. Therefore, he wants to express gratitude through this pilgrimage.
Offering of Gratitude to Lord Venkateswara
Ganesh said Chandrababu Naidu has regained his political standing. He also pointed out that the legal cases have ended. Because of this, his family remembered the vow and urged him to complete it.
In conclusion, Ganesh said the yatra is his offering to the Kaliyuga Pratyaksha Daivam, Lord Venkateswara. He expressed confidence that the Lord’s blessings would guide him safely to Tirumala.
