Candidates may withdraw their nominations on the same day between 5 pm and 6 pm. If the party requires voting, it will conduct polling on January 20 and declare the result later that day. The entire process will take place at the BJP headquarters.

Meanwhile, party sources indicate that Nitin Nabin stands as the leading contender for the BJP national president post. The BJP high command reportedly favors his unanimous election as part of its push for young leadership.
Nitin Nabin currently serves as the party’s working president. The BJP appointed him to this role in December last year, triggering speculation about his elevation to the top post.

Nitin Nabin hails from Bihar and belongs to the Kayastha community. He has a strong ideological foundation through his association with the RSS. Over the years, he has built a solid political profile within the party.
He represents the Bankipur Assembly constituency and recently secured his fourth consecutive victory in the Bihar Assembly elections. His rise marks a significant milestone, as he has become one of the few leaders from Bihar to reach the BJP’s top leadership tier.
