Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said he feels happy every time he visits Gandipet. He spoke at the anniversary celebrations of NTR Educational Institutions, where he attended as the chief guest on Saturday.
NTR Trust’s Vision and Purpose
First, the Chief Minister explained the purpose behind forming the NTR Trust. He said the trust aims to provide quality education to poor and orphaned children. Moreover, he expressed satisfaction that these institutions now support hundreds of students.
Next, Chandrababu Naidu recalled his association with Gandipet. Earlier, the Telugu Desam Party headquarters functioned on the same premises. At that time, many political leaders received training there. Now, he said, the same land shapes young lives through education. Therefore, the journey gives him great pride.
Appreciation for Nara Bhuvaneswari
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister praised Nara Bhuvaneswari for managing the institutions with discipline and dedication. Because of her leadership, the institutions grew steadily and maintained high standards.
Importantly, he highlighted student achievements. Four students cleared Group-1 examinations, while 29 students secured seats in IITs and NITs. At present, 1,641 students study across different centres. What started as a small school has now expanded into intermediate and degree colleges.
Vision for Andhra Pradesh’s Future
Additionally, Chandrababu Naidu spoke about development. He recalled his role in turning Hyderabad into an education and IT hub. Similarly, he said the government will now focus on Andhra Pradesh.
Accordingly, the state will promote data centres, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, green energy, semiconductors, drones, and space technology. He stressed that these sectors will create jobs and drive future growth.
Finally, NTR Trust members, faculty, and students attended the event, marking a meaningful milestone for the institution.
