Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu urged officials to use technology widely to reduce the workload on field-level employees. He made these remarks during an RTGS review meeting held in Amaravati on January 26. He said better results come when departments combine training with constant monitoring.
The Chief Minister announced that 2026 will be observed as the year of Technology-Driven Decision Making. He stressed the need to increase the use of artificial intelligence in government services. He also asked officials to resolve public grievances faster using AI-based systems.
Chandrababu Naidu said technology can solve many governance problems. He encouraged officials and staff to adopt digital tools in their daily work. According to him, data-based decisions improve transparency and speed up services.
Officials informed the Chief Minister about the success of Mana Mitra WhatsApp Governance. At present, the platform offers 878 government services. More than 1.43 crore people have already used these services across the state.
Later, the Chief Minister reviewed the performance of key departments. These included health, agriculture, revenue, roads, RTA, and fire services. He asked officials to focus more on data-driven planning at every level.
Chandrababu Naidu said technology will ease pressure on employees and improve efficiency. He added that digital governance remains central to the state’s development plans.
