A controversy erupted in Telugu film circles after Chandrahas, son of popular television actor Prabhakar, landed in the spotlight during promotions for his debut film Barabar Premista in Hyderabad. What began as a routine pre-release event quickly turned into a heated discussion across social media and entertainment platforms, forcing Prabhakar to step forward with a public apology.
During the event, Chandrahas sang a song from the film on stage. However, the performance drew sharp criticism after he reportedly added vulgar and abusive words. Prabhakar said he felt responsible for the discomfort caused to them and expressed his sincere regret.
