Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh – A shocking corruption case emerged when the Chhattisgarh ACB caught Sub-Inspector Abdul Munaf red-handed while taking a bribe.
Munaf demanded ₹25,000 from a construction site owner after a labourer tragically fell into a pit and died. He threatened the owner and tried to pocket the cash before authorities intervened.
The ACB tested the money chemically and found it was not genuine corruption cash. This unexpected twist added complexity to the case.
The ACB also arrested another officer who helped Munaf in the bribery attempt. Officials warned that corruption will not be tolerated and urged public servants to act responsibly.
Citizens in Bilaspur expressed concern over the incident. The ACB assured strict action against any officer caught taking bribes or intimidating people.
