Himanshi received the threats through a voice note linked to an individual identifying himself as Zeeshan Akhtar. The message warned of severe consequences if the demanded amount was not paid.

Following the threat, Himanshi lodged a formal complaint at the Mohali Police Station in Punjab. The authorities have registered a case and launched an official investigation to identify the perpetrators.
