Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy reacted strongly to the tense situation outside the residence of former minister and YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu. Taking to X, Jagan tagged Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and levelled serious allegations, questioning the state government’s handling of law and order.
Jagan accused the TDP government of resorting to violence after its alleged conspiracy surrounding Tirumala laddu prasadam failed. He questioned whether the government was using the issue as a cover to suppress political opponents.
‘State Slipping Into Jungle Raj,’ Says Jagan
In his post, Jagan claimed that Andhra Pradesh had descended into a “jungle raj” under TDP rule. He alleged that the ruling party was hatching new conspiracies to hide its failures and silence dissent. As part of this strategy, he said, the attack on Ambati Rambabu had taken place.
Jagan stated that such incidents reflected a complete breakdown of governance and warned that political vendetta was replacing democratic norms in the state.
Appeal to the Governor and the Centre
Raising concerns over the safety of YSRCP leaders, Jagan urged the Governor to intervene immediately in the deteriorating situation. He also appealed to the Union Home Ministry to ensure adequate security for leaders and workers of his party across Andhra Pradesh.
He announced that YSRCP MPs would soon submit a formal representation to the central government, highlighting the prevailing conditions in the state and seeking necessary action.
Political Temperature Rises in Andhra Pradesh
Jagan’s remarks have further intensified the political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh, with the ruling TDP and opposition YSRCP trading sharp accusations. The developments have drawn statewide attention as tensions continue to simmer following the incident at Ambati Rambabu’s residence.
