The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) has issued Red and Orange alerts for multiple districts. It warned of lightning and heavy rainfall over the next few hours.
The APSDMA bulletin issued at 2 p.m. placed Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema, Anakapalli, and Visakhapatnam districts under a red alert, warning of moderate to heavy rainfall with lightning.
