Mahindra delivered an impressive performance in January 2026, reporting strong sales growth across key vehicle segments. The results reflect rising customer trust and the company’s steady focus on product strength, innovation, and value.
Record-Breaking Monthly Sales
Mahindra sold a total of 104,309 vehicles in January 2026. This marks a 24 per cent increase compared to the same month last year. The growth highlights strong demand despite a competitive market and changing buyer preferences.
SUVs Drive Growth Momentum
The SUV segment once again powered Mahindra’s success. Domestic SUV sales rose by 25 per cent, reaching 63,510 units. Popular models, improved features, and consistent supply helped the company maintain its leadership position in India’s fast-growing SUV market.
New Launches Spark Massive Response
Mahindra’s latest models created huge excitement among buyers. The XUV7XO and XEV9S, launched on January 14, received an overwhelming response. Within just four hours, the company recorded 93,689 bookings worth nearly ₹20,500 crore. This response set a new benchmark in the Indian auto industry and showed strong faith in Mahindra’s new offerings.
Strong Performance in Other Segments
Growth was not limited to passenger vehicles. Three-wheeler sales increased by 28 per cent to 9,566 units, supported by demand in urban and rural areas. At the same time, light commercial vehicle sales rose by 23 per cent, driven by logistics, small businesses, and last-mile transport needs.
Customer Trust Fuels Success
Mahindra’s steady rise comes from a clear focus on customer needs. Competitive pricing, reliable products, and wide service support helped turn interest into sales. Effective marketing and timely launches further strengthened the brand’s image among buyers.
Positive Outlook Ahead
With strong SUV demand, record-breaking bookings, and balanced growth across segments, Mahindra has started 2026 on a solid note. The January performance points to a positive outlook for the company and reinforces its position as a key player in India’s automotive market.
