The Maoist party has issued a serious warning, claiming that a key Telangana Congress leader is on its hit list. The warning is linked to an alleged conspiracy behind the death of senior Maoist leader Madvi Hidma.
In an open letter titled “Revolution”, released on Friday, the Bhadradri Kothagudem–Alluri Seetharama Raju Division Committee made sensational allegations. According to the Maoists, Hidma was cheated in the name of medical treatment and handed over to enemies.
The party alleged that a Congress leader from the Charla area of Bhadradri district played a crucial role in the conspiracy. Along with him, a contractor was also named as a key partner. The letter claimed that the duo misled Hidma, Raji, and other Maoist members by promising medical help.
However, instead of treatment, they were allegedly taken through the Kondavai route to the Andhra region. There, the Maoists claimed, the leaders were caught by enemy forces. The party stated that the Congress leader involved had earlier been pardoned but later betrayed their trust.
Moreover, the Maoists asserted that they possess voice recordings and other solid evidence related to the conspiracy. These materials, they said, clearly expose those involved in cheating the party.
Meanwhile, the Maoist party issued a strong warning. It said that those responsible for the betrayal would not be spared. Notably, the letter revealed that one contractor involved in the conspiracy has already been eliminated. In addition, the party warned that several other contractors are under close watch.
Furthermore, the Maoists claimed that the surrender of several top leaders who sought medical treatment was not accidental. Instead, they alleged it was part of a larger, well-planned conspiracy.
The open letter has triggered political tension in Telangana. It has also raised serious security concerns, especially for leaders named or linked to the allegations.
