AP Social Welfare Minister Dola Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy inaugurated a new girls’ hostel in Talluru village of Prakasam district. The government built the hostel at a cost of ₹2 crore.
The hostel will provide accommodation to around 100 girl students. It will support students studying from Class 8 to Intermediate. The facility aims to improve access to education for girls from rural areas.
Ongole MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy assured full support for the hostel’s development. He said the government would provide all necessary facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for students.
TDP leader Gottipati Lakshmi, along with officials from various departments, attended the inauguration event. Local leaders welcomed the initiative and praised the government’s focus on girls’ education.
The hostel is expected to play a key role in improving educational opportunities for girls in the region.
