Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu stated that Andhra Pradesh presents abundant opportunities for investment in the petrochemical and oil sectors, in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. During his meetings with representatives of leading oil companies, he highlighted the vast potential available across the state.
On the second day of his UAE tour in Abu Dhabi, Naidu met Ahmed Bin Thalit, Global Trading Representative of ADNOC, at Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. He outlined investment prospects in petrochemicals, oil, LNG, gas processing, port logistics, and green energy sectors in Andhra Pradesh. He emphasised that areas surrounding the ports of Krishnapatnam, Machilipatnam, Ramayapatnam, and Kakinada are particularly suitable for petroleum-related investments. Both parties agreed to develop a roadmap for technical cooperation between ADNOC and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Later, the Chief Minister met Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce, and Mansoor Al Mansoori, CEO of G42 International. They discussed the ease and speed of doing business in Andhra Pradesh. The Chief Minister announced that quantum computing services will be available in Amaravati starting in January and extended an invitation to attend the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam.
During a luncheon meeting with industrialists in Abu Dhabi, Naidu shared his vision of transforming Andhra Pradesh into a technology hub. He highlighted investment opportunities in data centres, artificial intelligence, machine learning, fintech, health tech, cloud computing, and digital governance. He noted that the innovation ecosystem in the state will be further strengthened through collaboration with the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub. He proposed the formation of a working group to facilitate coordination between technology companies in the UAE and Andhra Pradesh.
