Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu secured interest from Sharaf Group, Transworld Group and Burjeel Holdings, who committed to investing in logistics parks and warehouses, a shipbuilding unit at Dugarajupatnam Port and setting up a cancer care centre in Tirupati, respectively, during his three-day Dubai (UAE) tour.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu presented a strong pitch to top global corporations and investors, highlighting the untapped investment potential in manufacturing, logistics, health, shipbuilding, tourism and technology sectors.
He participated in a high-level CII road show in Dubai as part of his three-day UAE (United Arab Emirates) tour. The Chief Minister invited the business leaders to participate in the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.
Andhra Pradesh offers abundant investment opportunities: CM
Highlighting the investor-friendly environment in the State, Naidu affirmed that Andhra Pradesh has immense investment opportunities across multiple sectors.

- Stress on ease of doing business with proactive government support.
“Andhra Pradesh is open for business. We welcome global companies to invest in our growth journey,” Naidu said during the CII roadshow in Dubai.
Naidu emphasised that Andhra Pradesh aims to become a Global Logistics Hub due to its strategic and long coastline and strong connectivity advantage. He touched upon key infrastructure priorities such as the expansion of air, road, and seaport networks; revival of inland waterways to boost cargo movement and investment in industrial corridors and multi-modal logistics parks.
Shipbuilding & logistics to be new growth pillars of AP, Tirupati to get cancer centre
In a one-on-one meeting, the Chief Minister explained investment opportunities to Sharaf Group Vice Chairman and Sharaf DG founder Sharafuddin. He discussed prospects for developing logistics parks and warehouses in the State. The Sharaf Group expressed interest in investing in these sectors in AP.
The Chief Minister stated that, if necessary, the State government is prepared to amend policies to attract investments in ports and national highways. He emphasised that priority is being given to the automobile sector in Rayalaseema and invited the group to attend the CII Partnership Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam next month.
Later, the Chief Minister met with Transworld Group Chairman Ramesh S Ramakrishna and highlighted the abundant investment opportunities in shipbuilding units. The group agreed to partner in establishing a shipbuilding unit at Dugarajupatnam Port. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to improving connectivity to various ports across the State.
Naidu also held discussions with Dr Shamsheer Vayalil, Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings. He said the government has initiated the digitalisation of health cards as a pilot project in select areas of the State. The Burjeel Group, known for its expertise in healthcare and research, and for operating a major cancer hospital in Abu Dhabi, expressed interest in setting up a cancer centre in Tirupati.
Boost to tourism sector: AP unveils major plans
Drawing inspiration from Dubai’s tourism success, which attracts 18 million tourists every year, Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh is giving the highest priority to tourism development. He also unveiled plans for seven anchor tourism hubs, 25 thematic tourist circuits and three world-class national parks, highlighting that the State government had accorded industry status to the tourism sector to drive investments.
Calling Visakhapatnam a futuristic city, Naidu announced that Google will invest $15 billion to establish its largest AI Data Centre in the city. He said this investment will transform Andhra Pradesh into a global technology destination. “The State government is also promoting skilling and employment generation to prepare youth for future digital careers,” he added.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed his commitment to developing Amaravati as a world-class capital city with smart infrastructure, advanced administration facilities, and sustainable growth planning.
CM invites industry leaders to CII Partnership Summit in Vizag
During the UAE tour, Naidu urged global CEOs, investors, and financial institutions in Dubai to attend the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam on November 14–15.
He also delivered a PowerPoint presentation showcasing sector-wise investment opportunities, mega infrastructure roadmap, Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and industrial clusters and startup ecosystem. The three-day UAE tour has intensified investment outreach ahead of the CII Partnership Summit in Vizag. The Chief Minister’s message was clear: Andhra Pradesh is ready for global collaboration, economic transformation, and sustainable growth.
