Hindupuram MLA and renowned actor Nandamuri Balakrishna is finally fulfilling a long-standing dream—building his own home in his constituency. Along with his wife, Vasundhara Devi, Balakrishna performed the traditional ground-breaking ceremony (Bhoomi Puja) to mark the start of construction.
From Rented Homes to an Own House
For years, Balakrishna has lived in rented homes, travelling from Hyderabad for constituency work. Despite this, his connection with Hindupuram residents has remained strong. His repeated victories—2014, 2019, and 2024—have kept the locals and his supporters eagerly awaiting his visits.
Now, MLA Balakrishna is set to establish a permanent presence in the constituency by constructing a residence in Vanamma Colony, near Hindupuram.
Response to Political Criticism
Recently, opposition leaders criticised Balakrishna, claiming that he resides in Hyderabad and does not spend enough time managing Hindupuram. The remarks sparked outrage among his supporters, and the MLA decided it was time to assert his local roots. Building a home in Hindupuram was part of his response, showing his commitment to the constituency.
Details of the New Home
Balakrishna purchased 81 cents of land at Survey Number 445 in Vanamma Colony. The new house will be a three-storey building featuring a swimming pool, a landscaped garden, and other modern amenities.
The construction of Balakrishna’s own residence has generated excitement across Hindupuram. Constituents, party workers, and fans of the actor-politician are keenly following every update, eager to see the home of their celebrated MLA and beloved actor.
This new home not only fulfils a personal dream for Balakrishna but also strengthens his bond with Hindupuram, signalling his continued commitment to serve the constituency.
