Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh added excitement to the ongoing Mangalagiri Premier League (MPL) Season 4 by participating in the cricket festivities at Bhogi Estates on the Mangalagiri Bypass Road. The tournament, organised as part of Sankranti celebrations, continues to draw large crowds and strong local enthusiasm.
On the 27th day of the league, Minister Lokesh attended the final match of the third round between Vallabhaneni Venkata Rao Youth and Vicky 11 teams. He officially began the match by tossing the coin, drawing cheers from players and spectators alike. Later, he picked up the bat and played cricket for a short while, delighting the crowd and boosting the morale of young players.
As soon as Lokesh joined the game, the youth erupted in applause and celebratory cheers, reflecting the festive spirit of the event. His friendly interaction with players added energy to the match and highlighted his support for grassroots sports.
Following the event, Minister Lokesh shared photographs from the tournament on his X account. The images quickly went viral on social media. In his post, he said the MPL matches were progressing in an exciting manner and mentioned that he enjoyed spending some time playing cricket with the participants.
