The US Department of Justice (DoJ) has released the largest and latest batch of Jeffrey Epstein investigation files, shedding new light on the disgraced financier’s network, alleged co-conspirators, and high-profile references, including former President Donald Trump. The release includes over 11,000 documents, made public under a new transparency law.

Trump References and Flight Records
Donald Trump’s name appears more frequently in this release than in previous ones. Most mentions come from media clippings, but a key internal email from a federal prosecutor suggests Trump may have travelled on Epstein’s private jet multiple times between 1993 and 1996. The email lists at least eight flights, some involving Ghislaine Maxwell and Trump’s family members.
The DoJ clarified that references in the files do not imply wrongdoing. Trump has repeatedly denied any misconduct. The department also said the files contain false and sensational claims about Trump submitted before the 2020 election.
Emails, Co-Conspirators and Redactions
The files include disturbing email exchanges between Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell and a sender identified as “A,” discussing “girls.” Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence, was convicted of trafficking minors.
The FBI also listed 10 alleged co-conspirators in internal emails. Subpoenas were issued to six individuals across multiple US states. However, many names remain redacted, drawing criticism from lawmakers across party lines who demand greater transparency.
Fake Epstein Letter and Video
One widely shared document—a letter allegedly written by Epstein to convicted abuser Larry Nassar—was declared fake by the DoJ. Officials cited handwriting mismatches, incorrect prison details, and suspicious postmarks.
The release also includes a fake video showing an Epstein-like figure in a jail cell. Investigators confirmed it was digitally created and not authentic.
Lawmakers Seek More Transparency
Several US lawmakers said the heavy redactions undermine the law’s intent. They warned of legal action to force fuller disclosure, especially regarding Epstein’s alleged accomplices.
The DoJ said redactions were made only to protect victims or active investigations.
