Kia has officially launched the second-generation Kia Seltos (2026 model) in the Indian market. The popular midsize SUV now comes with advanced features, refreshed design, and improved space. Prices start at ₹10.99 lakh and go up to ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Kia will begin deliveries from the second week of January. Bookings opened on December 11 with a token amount of ₹25,000.
Kia Seltos 2026 Variants and Engine Options
The new Kia Seltos is available in five trims: HTE, HTK, HTX, GTX, and X-Line.
HTE is the base variant, while GTX and X-Line sit at the top.
Kia offers three engine options:
1.5L petrol – 115 hp, 144 Nm
1.5L turbo-petrol – 160 hp, 253 Nm
1.5L diesel – 116 hp, 250 Nm
Customers can choose from MT, IVT, DCT, and AT transmission options.
New Kia Seltos Design Highlights
The 2026 Seltos features a refreshed design inspired by Kia’s global models. It gets a bold tiger-nose grille, new vertical LED lighting, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
At the rear, Kia has added a redesigned tailgate with connected LED tail lamps. Other highlights include:

Shark fin antenna
The SUV comes in 10 exterior colour options, including new shades Morning Haze and Magma Red.
Interior, Dimensions, and Comfort Features
Kia claims the new Seltos is the longest SUV in its segment, measuring 4,460 mm in length.
The wheelbase has increased by 80 mm, which improves rear legroom.

The new Kia Seltos offers strong safety credentials. It comes with:

Navigation-based smart cruise control
Drive modes include Snow, Mud, and Sand.
