Jr NTR’s much-awaited film with director Prashanth Neel has hit a brief pause during its Hyderabad schedule. The team stopped filming after the actor fell ill following continuous high-intensity action scenes. Doctors advised him to take complete rest, prompting the makers to prioritise his recovery and halt the shoot temporarily.
The film, which comes after the massive success of Devara, already carries huge expectations. At present, the unit has been shooting large-scale action sequences on specially erected sets at Ramoji Film City. However, constant physical strain and changing weather conditions led to Jr NTR developing a fever and a cold. As a result, Prashanth Neel and the production team decided not to take any risks.
Meanwhile, Jr NTR is resting at home and focusing on recovery. Once his health improves, the team plans to announce a fresh shooting schedule. Fans, meanwhile, continue to flood social media with get-well-soon messages, showing strong support for the actor.
Although the makers have not revealed the official title yet, industry buzz suggests filming may resume as early as next week. With its promise of high-voltage action and scale, the film remains one of Tollywood’s most eagerly awaited projects.
