A goods train derailed early this morning in Andhra Pradesh’s Prakasam district, causing major disruption on the Vijayawada–Chennai main railway line. The incident took place near Ammanabrolu railway station in Naguluppalapadu mandal. Several wagons slipped off the tracks and fell across two railway lines, halting train movement.

The derailment happened during the early hours, when the goods train suddenly lost balance near the station limits. Due to the impact, multiple wagons toppled and blocked both up and down lines. As a result, rail services on this busy route were disrupted immediately.
