On Sunday, February 15, 2026, Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad received a bomb threat via email targeting an incoming flight from Singapore. The message claimed that an explosive device had been planted on the aircraft, raising immediate security concerns.
Airport authorities acted swiftly. Security personnel were alerted immediately after receiving the threat, and all passengers were safely evacuated once the plane landed. A thorough search of the aircraft was conducted, and fortunately, no bomb was found.
