Actress Rashmika Mandanna has described 2025 as one of the most fulfilling years of her life, both professionally and personally. Speaking in a recent interview, the popular star said that even small personal changes felt like major victories to her.
With back-to-back successes such as “Chhaava,” “Kubera,” and “The Girlfriend,” Rashmika ended the year on a high note. She continues to maintain strong momentum with multiple projects lined up, including the female-centric film “Mysaa,” which will release soon.
“I Want Audiences to Trust Me as an Actor”
Rashmika said her biggest wish is for audiences to believe that she can portray any kind of character. She explained that she does not want to get stuck in a single image or be limited to “good girl” or innocent roles.
“I always remind myself that I am an actor first and an entertainer next,” she said. “I want people to see me as someone who is constantly evolving.”
Trust in Storytellers Matters Most
The actress revealed that when she likes a story, she places complete trust in the director and writers. According to her, strong storytelling motivates her to give her best performance.
She added that she enjoys working across languages and respects Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema equally. Rashmika said collaborating with talented teams in different industries has been one of the biggest strengths of her journey.
Personal Growth Feels Like Success
Reflecting on her life, Rashmika admitted that she has dealt with anxiety and insecurity since childhood. However, she said she learned gradually through life experiences and personal growth.
“Some changes may look small to others,” she noted, “but for me, they are great achievements.”
She concluded by saying that the love she receives from audiences and the happiness of her family and friends mean more to her than box-office numbers.
