Rishab Shetty Visits Anjanadri Hill with Wife, Offers Prayers at Hanuman’s Birthplace
Kannada superstar Rishab Shetty recently took a break from his film commitments. He visited several temples across the state along with his wife. Their latest spiritual stop was Anjanadri Hill, believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, in Koppal district’s Gangavati taluk.
The star couple joined common devotees and climbed 575 steps to reach the hilltop temple. Rishab Shetty performed special prayers at the Anjaneya Swamy shrine. He also fulfilled his vows with deep devotion. Videos from the visit quickly went viral on social media.
Rishab Shetty gained nationwide recognition with Kantara Chapter 1. The film released on October 2 as a Dasara festive special. It became a blockbuster devotional thriller. The movie collected over ₹800 crore worldwide. It ranked as the second highest-grossing Indian film of 2025.
After months of intense work, Rishab Shetty is now in a relaxed phase. He is spending quality time with his family. As part of his spiritual journey, he earlier visited Tirupati, Tirumala, Mantralayam, and Chamundi Hills in Mysuru.
During the Anjanadri visit, temple priests explained the mythological and historical importance of the site. They also honoured Rishab Shetty for promoting Kannada culture through Kantara. Fans gathered in large numbers to see the actor and cheer for him.
Meanwhile, audiences eagerly await news about Rishab Shetty’s next project. However, he has not made any official announcement yet after the success of Kantara Chapter 1.
