Doctors examined the sisters but declared them dead on arrival. The news devastated relatives and guests who had gathered for the wedding celebrations.
Suspected Consumption of Poison
Police officials stated that the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report. However, preliminary investigations suggest that the sisters may have consumed pesticide or another poisonous substance.
Authorities have registered a case and begun a detailed probe. Investigators are examining all possible angles to understand what led to the extreme step.
Investigation Underway
Police are questioning family members and close relatives. They are also looking into whether the sisters were under any form of pressure related to the marriage. At this stage, officials have not confirmed any specific motive.
Meanwhile, the community remains in deep shock. What was meant to be a day of celebration turned into a moment of grief within hours.
Community in Mourning
The sudden deaths have left the family devastated. Villagers expressed sorrow over the loss of two young lives who were educated and employed as teachers. The double wedding arrangements were underway, and relatives had already gathered for the ceremony.
