The long-pending Skill Development case has finally ended in Andhra Pradesh. The Vijayawada ACB Court officially closed the case and gave full relief to Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The verdict brings closure to one of the most debated political issues in the state.
ACB Court Gives Clean Chit
The court reviewed the closure report submitted by the CID in detail. It ruled that no irregularities occurred in the Skill Development project. Based on the findings, the court dropped all charges against Chandrababu Naidu and the remaining 37 accused.
The ACB Court treated the case as a “Mistake of Fact.” It stated that investigators wrongly assessed facts while registering the case. The court made it clear that the accused had no criminal intent.
This verdict offers complete legal relief to Chandrababu Naidu. He had spent nearly 52 days in jail during the previous government’s tenure because of this case.
Political Reactions and Final Verdict
Following the verdict, TDP leaders and supporters expressed happiness. They said the judgment proved that truth had prevailed. Party leaders also stated that the legal system delivered justice.
Before the final order, former State Skill Development Corporation chairman K. Ajay Reddy filed a petition. He requested the court to hear his arguments. However, the ACB Court rejected the plea. The court said the CID report was satisfactory and needed no further hearing.
With this ruling, a major political controversy in Andhra Pradesh has come to an end. The court confirmed that no corruption took place in the Skill Development project. The decision allows the government to focus fully on administration and development works.
