Tirupati – Devotees will celebrate the annual Brahmotsavams at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati, from March 17 to 25. The festival promises nine days of devotion, colourful processions, and rich cultural traditions. Worshippers can witness centuries-old rituals and receive divine blessings. Preparations began with Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam on March 13, followed by Ankurarpanam on March 16, marking the start of the festivities.
Daily Vahana Sevas Schedule
The temple will hold Vahana Sevas twice a day: from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. On March 17, the morning program features Dwajarohanam in Mesha Lagnam, while the evening will showcase Pedda Sesha Vahanam.
On March 18, devotees will see Chinna Sesha Vahanam in the morning and Hamsa Vahanam at night. March 19 begins with Simha Vahanam, continues with Ugadi Asthanam in the afternoon, and concludes with Muthyapu Pandiri Vahanam at night.
On March 20, the morning Kalpavriksha Vahanam and evening Sarvabhoopala Vahanam will delight the crowd. March 21 includes Pallaki Utsavam in the morning and Garuda Vahanam from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
Major Events in the Later Days
The Hanumantha Vahanam and Vasanthotsavam will be held on March 22, followed by Gaja Vahanam in the evening. March 23 features Surya Prabha Vahanam in the morning and Chandra Prabha Vahanam at night.
On March 24, the morning program includes Rathotsavam, while Aswa Vahanam concludes the day. The festival ends on March 25 with Chakrasnanam at 10:00 AM and Dwajavarohanam in the evening.
